ABOUT ME & WEBSITE

Welcome on my website! My name is Aleksandra Szwedo and I am a MSc Biological Chemistry student at University of Stavanger. My inspiration to create this website was the course of Bioinformatics. Well, to be more specific (and to be honest, honest), it was one of the assignments. However, I wanted to share more than only my experience of being a student. I tried my best to transfer a bit of my passion for art, photography and programming, of course!

MY TOP 5 USEFUL (NOT NECESSARILY) ACADEMIC LINKS

If you would like to know better how it is to be a student, you can try to follow the links I collected below. These are the ones I am using the most while studying :) [don't judge me by looking at Facebook at the first position on the list. This is a pure coincidence]

Well, I should probably also include Google Translate - without it it would be much more difficult to understand what my international fellows are saying.

HOLD ON A SEC!

THIS WEBSITE WOULD NEVER LOOK LIKE THAT WITHOUT...

w3schools.com - a good and simple way to understand and learn the basis of HTML, CSS and some modern frameworks for the sake of website design. Describes W3.CSS framework, an alternative to the standard design. Gives an innovative ideas and modern solutions. Easy way to make the website stylish. Also a good solution for saving a lot of time!

Notepad++ - a fatnastic program to operate with simple programming. The "younger brother" of Notepad, created to keep the programming commands clear and to help with navigation.

Artem Yastrebov - an awesome R&D engineer who gave me an idea of current website design and sacrified his time to study HTML more than the one who was supposed to do so :) I promise muffins every day as a reward!

Большое спасибо!
