WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT MY PERSONAL LIFE ????

In my private life i'm quite funny person......everytime i keep on thinking about doing some funny activities........and i find enjoyment in doing these. I can't stay alone........it kills me, i often get bored when no one is near to me. everytime in need some one to accompany me. i think i talks too much......never stops....but i'm helpless.i can't stay silent..i always look forward to share my words , feelings , ideas, thoughts with someone. That's why i need a person with me to whom i can tells all these. My friends always hide there secrets form me........because they know that if i come to know about these thereafter they will remain as secrets no more. It is hard for me to keep anything undisclosed, doesn't matter if it is related to me or someone else. In my mother tongue..........they keep on saying me......" tere tedh ch koi gal ni pachdi...". it means....."nothing is digetsed in your stomach".

But i have lot of friends. they believe that i'm good heart.....i don't hate anyone....everyone is lovable to me........doesn't matter whta the other person feels..but to me everyone is a creature of god...and they all are my friends. I always look for helping others. I 'm always ready to go with anyone at anytime.

Besides this i'm little bit religious..............i believe in god......and this is because i belong to that land which is known as "Land of Saints and Gurus". My belief in god strengthed even much since i started studying the biological sciences. As we can see the complexity of organisms i.e anatomical and morphological complexities. He is really a great designer or scientist or engineer or............by what name we describe him.....i have no words............Really he is great.......It is long time.......many many centuries.......since the life originated on this planet.....but till today we are not able to understand completely even a single organism.

In my free time i like to sit on computer and listen to music, watching movies, chatting, exploring different websites, reading jokes etc. i also like to dance if i have some partner.. also i am fond of cooking............i like to eat food cooked by me.........i think i'm the best cook for me...........besides this i like the food cooked by my bibi ji.... i like spicy food.....too much spicy...........yummy.....and the list is so long..................

i will stop here to write more about my self.....because i will not end up with the words....but time doesn't allow me............any way i will keep on updating more information about me regularly. thanks for your interest and your time.<

SOMETHING INTERESTING ABOUT MY COUNTRY

I belong to a land of many religions and many gods.............."INDIA". India is quite a big country and huge population ( over 100 million). It has got 28 states some big and some small. The capital of india is New Delhi. I belong to the State of Punjab, nearly 200 kms from the capital and it lies on the border range of India and Pakistan.

India has got diverse culture and mixture of population from different religions like hindu, muslims, christans, jains, buddhists etc. India is famous for its food and its hospitality. We can get indian restuarants in all parts of the world and they are doing good business. We can also find indians in almost every country because indians are world widely accepted in different professions because of their talent, knowledge and enthusiasm to do any work.

Punjabi is originally the language of people of Punjab, the land of the five tributaries of the mighty Indus River in the northwestern part of South Asia, where the Indus Civilization flourished 4700 years ago. That land now comprises Punjab (India) and Punjab (Pakistan). My land Punjab is among one of the beautiful and most developing state of India. Punjab has got only 2% population below poverty line and it is best known regarding the eduactional institutions and is a place of choice for the international students nad tourists. Punjab has got 18 districts with its capital Chandigarh. Chandigarh is also a union territory and one of the beautiful city of Asia. It is a well planned city, its infrastructure being desined by a french scientist "Lee Carbouzier". Chandigarh is famous for its many sight seeing places including rock garden, rose garden, sukna lake etc.

Punjab has got many other beautiful cities also including Amritsar, Ludhiana, Jalandhar etc. Amritsar is a famous because in this is situated the world famous holy temle of sikhs ,"The Golden Temple". I also belong to a Sikh community. Besides this amritsar is afmous for its food, dresses and culture.

Sri Harmandir Sahib, also known as Sri Darbar Sahib or Golden Temple, (on account of its scenic beauty and golden coating for English speaking world), is named after Hari(God) the temple of God. The Sikhs all over the world, daily wish to pay visit to Sri Amritsar and to pay obeisance at Sri Harmandir Sahib in their Ardas.

Guru Arjan Sahib, the Fifth Nanak, conceived the idea of creating a central place of worship for the Sikhs and he himself designed the architecture of Sri Harmandir Sahib. Earlier the planning to excavate the holy tank (Amritsar or Amrit Sarovar ) was chalked out by Guru Amardas Sahib, the Third Nanak, but it was executed by Guru Ramdas Sahib under the supervision of Baba Budha ji. The land for the site was acquired by the earlier Guru Sahibs on payment or free of cost from the Zamindars (landlords) of native villages. The plan to establish a town settlement was also made. Therefore, the construction work on the Sarovar(the tank) and the town started simultaneously in 1570. The work on both projects completed in 1577 A.D.

Guru Arjan Sahib got its foundation laid by a muslim saint Hazrat Mian Mir ji of Lahore on 1st of Magh, 1645 Bikrmi Samvat(December,1588). The construction work was directly supervised by Guru Arjan Sahib himself and he was assisted by the prominent Sikh personalities like Baba Budha ji, Bhai Gurdas ji, Bhai Sahlo ji and many other devoted Sikhs.

Unlike erecting the structure on the higher level(a tradition in Hindu Temple architecture), Guru Arjan Sahib got it built on the lower level and unlike Hindu Temples having only one gate for the entrance and exit, Guru Sahib got it open from four sides. Thus he created a symbol of new faith, Sikhism. Guru Sahib made it accessible to every person without any distinction of Caste, creed, sex and religion.

The building work completed in 1601 A.D. on Bhadoon Sudi 1st, 1661 Bikrmi Samvat (August/September,1604). Guru Arjan Sahib installed newly created Guru Granth Sahib, in Sri Harmandir Sahib and appointed Baba Budha ji as its first Granthi i.e. the reader of Guru Granth Sahib. After this event it attained the status of ‘Ath Sath Tirath’. Now the Sikh Nation had their own Tirath, a pilgrimage center

Sri Harmandir Sahib, is built on a 67ft. square platform in the centre of the Sarovar(tank). The temple itself is 40.5ft. square. It has a door each on the East, West, North and South. The Darshani Deori (an arch) stands at the shore end of the causeway. The door frame of the arch is about 10ft in height and 8ft 6inches in breath. The door panes are decorated with artistic style. It opens on to the causeway or bridge that leads to the main building of Sri Harmandir Sahib. It is 202 feet in length and 21 feet in width.

The bridge is connected with the 13 feet wide ‘Pardakshna’ (circumambulatory path). It runs round the main shrine and it leads to the ‘Har ki Paure’ (steps of God). On the first floor of ‘Har ki Paure’, there is continuous reading of Guru Granth Sahib. The main structure of Sri Harmandir Sahib, functionally as well as technically is a three-storied one. The front, which faces the bridge, is decorated with repeated cusped arches and the roof of the first floor is at the height of the 26 feet and 9 inches.

At the top of the first floor 4 feet high parapet rises on all the sides which has also four ‘Mamtees’ on the four corners and exactly on the top of the central hall of the main sanctuary rises the third story. It is a small square room and have three gates. A regular recitation of Guru Granth Sahib is also held there.

On the top of this room stands the low fluted ‘Gumbaz’(dome) having lotus petal motif in relief at the base inverted lotus at the top which supports the ‘Kalash’ having a beautiful ‘Chhatri’ at the end.

Its architecture represents a unique harmony between the Muslims and the Hindus way of construction work and this is considered the best architectural specimens of the world. It is often quoted that this architecture has created an independent Sikh school of architecture in the history of art in India.

Major part of economy of the punjab state is decided by the agricultutre. It has good large amounts of agricultural lands with good fertility power. Punjab is one of the biggest supplier of wheat and rice to various parts of the world. In 1950's a revloution named, "Green Revolution" triggered the devlopement of state by enhancing the crop production of different food items. To finish up i will only say that.......the words never end up.............but the time constraints...............so over and all Punjab is Heaven on earth to me...........and i love being born a punjabi boy.......buuuuurraaaaaaaaa.
